The launch of the Mühle-Glashütte S.A.R. Mission Timer TITAN marks the 20th anniversary of the Rescue Timer supporting the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service. This new model channels the robust durability of the Rescue Timer into a timepiece that’s ready for any mission, whether at sea, on land or in the mountains.

Mission Timer TITAN: Special features

Firstly, the Mühle-Glashütte S.A.R. Mission Timer has a completely redesigned case. Made from lightweight Titanium, it’s easy and comfortable to wear. This makes it the perfect choice for activities including surfing or hiking where a heavy tool watch gets in the way.

Secondly, the intensely luminous hands and indices allow for fantastic readability at night. Coated in Super LumiNova, they shine brightly ensuring the dial can always be seen. Secondly, the 43mm case has a black ceramic bezel which is resistant to scratches. Additionally, at 2.5mm thick, the sapphire crystal is robust. Also, it’s double anti-reflective for maximum legibility.

Furthermore, the positioning of the crown at 4 o’clock is a safety feature as it avoids injury. Similarly, the crown is rounded for the same reason. Finally, a black rubber strap secures the S.A.R. Mission Timer to the wrist.

The SW 400-1 automatic movement has a patented woodpecker neck regulation (for shockproofing) and a power reserve of up to 41 hours. Above all, expect a highly practical watch that is always ready for action.
