Developed in 1944 by the Swiss Federal Railways (the SBB) for their station clocks, it was first launched as a wristwatch by Mondaine in 1986. The design has truly stood the test of time and has remained unchanged ever since. The look is minimalist with clear Bauhaus influence. Characterised by it’s brushed 36mm steel case this Mondaine Classic Pure 36mm Watch has a timeless look and feel. The iconic dial is clear and legible at all times thanks to the bold hour markers and minute track.

The strap is deliberately pared back in plain black vegan leather. Made from 75% eco-composite vegetable and 25% recycled PET materials, it’s a sustainable choice. Also, the red lining is a hidden design feature which complements the sweeping red second hand and red Mondaine monogram set into the crown.
