The design of the Junghans Meister Pilot Automatic in Navy Blue is taken from authentic control panel instruments. Firstly, the case is in black DLC (Diamond-like carbon). Secondly, an ergonomically shaped bi-directional bezel ensures a firm grip. Additionally, the sapphire crystal is scratch resistant and treated with an anti-reflective coating. Furthermore, beneath the glass, the Navy Blue dial has luminescent, applied numbers and hands which ensure maximum legibility in poor light. Moreover, red detailing on the dial and small seconds hand further aids visibility.

Equipped with an automatic J880.1.6 calibre, the Junghans Meister Pilot Automatic in Navy Blue has a 38 hour power reserve. Finally, a navy vintage style leather strap secures the watch to the wrist. With riveting where it joins the case, the sides are stitched in white with red and white overstitching near the case to complement the dial.
