The Bulova Lunar Pilot Meteorite Chronograph is a Limited Edition of just 5,000 pieces.

Firstly, Bulova’s modern interpretation of the watch has its proprietary NP20 high-performance quartz movement. With a frequency of 262 kHz, it operates at a higher frequency than most quartz or mechanical movements which results in increased precision. Also, the chronograph hand and running seconds hand have the same sweeping motion normally associated with an automatic movement.

Case, Meteorite Dial & Strap

Secondly, with a 43.5mm super titanium case, the Bulova Lunar Pilot Meteorite Chronograph is the same size as the original watch (see 45mm version here). Additionally, it’s lightweight and true to the original design, the chronograph pushers follow the shape of the case. Also, Bulova meticulously craft the dial from genuine Muonionalusta meteorite. Discovered in Northern Scandinavia in 1906, this 4.5 billion year old meteorite features a varied crystalline pattern. Consequently, every dial is unique.
